Snow Driving Video

Got a bit of video from today's drive in the snow. Just some hand held Gopro as the sun and light was a little too uncertain to get set up with the drone. I noticed it makes a big difference having some decent speakers to play it back. The laptop speakers are so weak I could hardly hear the rumble of that straight piped Merc. Put on the headphones for playback and now we are talking sound performance! Hear the power! Feel the slide as I hit the gas on the corners in that slippery snow. https://youtu.be/grHbQi39qMA

Ralph, Nice video. Thanks for sharing that. We are suppose to get 1-3 inches over night & tomorrow morning here. I hope that everyone remembers how to drive by Monday morning.

Yep, bald tires on the snow, just like having power steering and a period perfect cardboard thermostat.
Entertaining as usual.

Ah yes, the good old days. :)

Thanks Ralph, I grew up on a farm out in the middle Kansas, I remember breaking the snow with my old Merc

Great share Ralph. You're very generous in letting us get a taste of life in Saskatoon!

Thanks Jeff. Although I can't really share anything from Saskatoon since I've only been to that big city once in my life and have no desire to return. All you will get here is from my own little corner out in the sticks of Saskatchewan.

Ralph, Lots of snow from Regina to Indian Head yesterday morning to attend a farm toy auction. Thanks, for sharing the great videos. What make/model of drone are you using. I have a DJI Flamewheel with a 3axis gimball and a GoPro. I don't have a "Follow Me " mode like you do. Tien.

Wow, my second goof like that this week! My problem was connected to looking at Google Earth at the same time I was typing the reply!

If I had all that beautiful open country around me, I don't think I'd be spending much time in the city either!

PS. Love your jacket sleeves! I don't like new stuff a whole lot.

Hi Tien
So theres another Sask. Ford guy on here. I'm using the Autel X-Star Premium. New last December and its been great for getting some new angles of the same old vehicles. So far I haven't crashed into anything (with drone or vehicle) and its taken some good pics and video. The Autel has it's own 4K camera mounted underneath.

Hey Jeff, I am amazed at how observant some people are. That old winter jacket is a disgrace but it serves the purpose. If I'd known I might have dressed up a little more fancy , or vintage to match the Merc. :D

Hey, how’d you get a picture of my house!
Nice video Ralph! We got 4-5” but I doubt I’ll be out with any of my cars.
