Snag for new tires

Talked with Coker today and they are out of stock on their classic radial series until November, Diamond back has nothing either until April when they are coming out with a new series. Also the guy at Coker said don't go with the big/little tire setup as you can't rotate the tires. Not much of a salesman for sure! I only put about 500 miles on the car each summer so I think the tires will last long enough. Any other companies out there that make radials for our stock wheels? I want to run 550R-16 on the front and 650R-16 on the back.

Diamond back only had the original size in radials, 600-16. I am looking for 550's on the front and 600 to 650 on the back......

I'm afraid that I disagree with you, about the guy from COKER, not being a good salesman.
He did a good thing, in reminding you, that you would not be able to rotate your tires, if you went big, little with the radials.
MIKE :)

See your point on the rotating tire thing, but I told him the car sees about 500 miles a year and am fully aware that I could not rotate the tires. Some mechanical things I don't know much about but do know tires. Maybe I could start a new trend with big tires up front and small in back! LOL......

Both Diamond Back And Coker Are Good To Work, With A Buddy Just Bought A Set(Big AnD Littles)B.F.Goodrich WW From Coker And Had Problems With Out Of Round On 2 Of Them,The Sales Person Bent Over BackWords To Help Him, I Have Bought From Both Of Them And Had Very Good Service,Get On The Order List.

Finding someone to "true" and balance tires is getting mighty difficult. I always had my tires "trued". They ran much smoother and increased the mileage I think.
