Small Paint Booth Question??

TomT
Have you thought out a filter of some sort?
I heard that should try to find a spray booth filter that a furnace filter is made up different a will not get any life out of it.

Since it's only a range hood I should be able to come up with a "disposable" filter of some kind that I can change out easily and with some kind of frequency ....

Make sure you do some research on the dangers of urethane based paints and consider carefully what you are spraying. A filtered air supply to the body suit are the only safe way to spray and handle some materials. Even some of the spray can stuff is highly toxic.

A couple of quick internet searches on "urethane paint danger":

Build it out of metal studs and clear plastic. Use spray glue on the corners to help hold the plastic. If needed you can rip small pieces of plywood and screw them to the outside corners to hold the plastic. I like this because you can see all areas inside the booth and it is light enough to move easily or disassembly and store. This is what I built to spray my car in only 20'X20'. Either way good luck
