Slant Window windshield to header screws

Can anyone please tell me what the screw size is to attach the windshield to the header on a slant window. It's a machine screw but unfortuantely I can't seem to get the correct one.

Thanks

Do you mean to attach the hinge to the wood header?
My car had common round-head wood screws for that!

I don't beleive that mine go into wood -- I'll double check but it looks like it's a sheet metal screw. The part I'm trying to describe is what is the windshield hinge that attaches to the top of the window frame or header. Hope I describing this correctly. If it is a wood screw do you happen to know the size.

Thanks

That goes into wood and better make sure its SOLID or insert dolls with wood glue, and then re-drill. You can get them at any ace or from the parts dealers and you should have 2 persons to do this

BTW, that joint at the top of the windshield is complicated! First you have the wood, which rests on a relatively thick L-shaped bracket that is part of the body structure. Then you have the bottom lip of the front sheet metal header cover. Then you have the bottom lip of the inner metal trim piece. Then you have the rubber gasket, and finally the hinge. And there's a bunch of nails and lots of anti-squeak welting between each piece...
