The other day, an over zealous passenger of mine slammed the passenger front door quite hard, It then popped right back open. The curved door bolt that engages the striker plate on the door post now has no resistance, and both the inside and outside handles just flop up and down with no tension. I haven't taken the panel off yet, but am assuming the latch mechanism is going to have to come out. I hate repairs like this, as there is so little room to work with. Any tips or tricks you can impart on how to remove the latch for repair ?
