I am working to install some door bottom seal for the front 2 doors on my slant window sedan. The car did not have it installed so I get air/light up through the gap at the bottom of the door. I understand that the metal clips in the door panel hold the seal in place. However, there were no clips in the panels in the bottom when I took them off.
I need to figure out what goes in the hole in the corner of the lower part of the door to hold the trip to the edges. I have the panel clips I can use for the larger holes along the bottom of the door. However, the holes at the corner of the door are much smaller in diameter and the clips don't fit. I want to ensure that the bottom seal does not droop and get pinched by the door post/cowl. I'll try to upload the pictures but right now FB won't let me upload the jpg files.
Thanks,
Brian
