I have noticed that some ads show only 2 posts, but in reality some have been re-posted many more times, is this allowed to reduce data usage on this site? Is there any way to keep the seller's original price in an ad? And have a new or reduced price inserted next to original price?

There are two columns on the right, one shows the number of times it's been added to or bumped and the other is the number of times it's been opened and read. The number( after the title if there is one) in "()" is the number of pages in the string. Can you copy and paste an example? There are ways to change the price in the title but I have not used it enough to write it out kinda have to hunt and peck to get it done.

I am not very good with copy/paste. My example is in Model T for sale is an ad by Ratatat for a fatman steering wheel, it shows 1 reply and 1659 views, when I know for sure it has been updated/reply at least 6 times. If you look at views for a normal posted sale ad you will see about 100-200 views.

You could send a note to Ryan and ask. Open the Model A forum, he has a sticky post right at the top. Click on his name and send a PM. He may see this question here and reply. I don't know beyond that.
OH I looked and only shows the original and an update for today. ?
