Signal-Stat on 12V

Hi

Is it possible to run a Signal-Stat on 12V? Is the flasher unit built into the switch housing?

I like the style of the casing and was hoping to use it in my 12 neg earth truck. I did link the turn signals to but it blows the 15A fuse in the Haywire Pro-T control box.

these and most after market units require a separate 3 terminal flasher ,you can use a headlight socket for the flasher wiring

No problem on 12v, but remember to replace the little bulb inside the unit too. What is a Pro-T control box?

It's the Haywire harness, the control box houses the relays for the flasher and horn and all the fuses.

The switch should work with 6 or 12 volt. If your wiring has the built in flasher and it blowing the fuse you have a direct short in the circuit some place.
