signal flasher

lots of chatter about this.

i use a 6volt motorcycle flashers and just reverse the polarity. they are cheap and seam to work just fine. if you are concerned that the case may ground which i have not encountered, then wrap it.

the flashers have 2 terminals that are marked with a B and L.
the B + is the battery the L - is the load. this is for negative ground system... so all you do for your positive ground system is, the B goes to the ground and the L is to the hot wire, switch the polarity.

see my highly technical drawing.

old ugly, is there a 3 terminal version of those flashers? Do they use the bimetal strip approach to make/break the circuit? Thanks!

only two prong as far as i know.
i have used an electronic one with success but the polarity has to be correct.
