Side mount adapter for motor stand

Does anyone have or know of a place where I can get a blue print for an adapter for my flathead to do the side mount on an engine stand? I know I can buy one but I can laser cut one a lot cheaper. If the motor was out I would just make a pattern but I havent go that far along in my project. I just want to have it just in case I decide to pull it. Any help is appreciated.

The best pattern is an exhaust gasket. The mount is 45 degrees so angle iron works well, but if you can cut a plate just weld it at a 45 to the tubing. Not sure what good a pattern would do, you really need to mark the plate with an exhaust manifold or gasket to get a good match. The rest of the plate is just margin around the holes. The tube diameter is determined by your stand.

Note: these are NOT my photos, just some I collected online.

I just used a exhaust manifold as my pattern for hole location and weld a pipe cut at 45 deg. to the plate. Not much to it.

Guys I appreciate it. I know how to make one. All im asking is if someone has a digital copy of a blue print so I can have the piece laser cut. If I had the motor out I would just take measurements and make my own print. I'm just trying to be ahead of the game.

If I put a couple exhaust manifolds on the copier to pick-up the hole locations will that work for you? I can email it as a pdf. Won't be before tomorrow.

Turns out the exhaust manifold is 18" long and will not fit on copier without multiple scans thus defeating the purpose.

Gasket is the best pattern going. Think you are going to have to build your own digital data base. Are you fluent with any CAD programs like AutoCAD? Should be quick and simple.
