Side curtains, anyone have pics?

I'm looking for some pics of side curtains for my '35 Phaeton, roadster of any year would be cool to check out too. Does anyone have any? Some close ups and hints would be cool. I'd like to see some framework details of them too. Maybe what somebody has used that built some from scratch? I didn't get any with my car and want to build some for it. I gotta install a heater soon too!
Thanks

Here are some pictures of a '33 Roadster that I saw at this years Billettproof show in FL. The side curtains were made of Plexiglass. They looked rather unique to me. I wish I had taken a close up picture. Maybe you can download these and resize them larger to get a close up of these curtains. I don't have any contact info for the owner but maybe someone from Florida will recognize this car and possibly know the owner. JM

SHINY . . . . . . . . .
I have the original side curtains for my '34 phaeton. I don't know how close that they are to the '35 phaeton.
Do you have curtain rods ? Without them, you would not be able to make curtains.
If you are just looking for basic information, I might be able to help you.
MIKE :)

Mike, I don't have anything. I want to build the bits I need and stitch up some curtains. I build funky wrought iron furniture for a living and can bend up what I need for rods, just want an indication/ idea for what I gots to do:D

55dude, stop it! haha

Vic, I don't have big U.S. $ to spend. And I can build this stuff!

JM 35, thanks for the pics, cool idea there eh.

I wasn't suggesting that you buy the side curtains from LeBaron; I thought that they might have patterns that you could get for not too much money, to use to make you own.

SHINY . . . . . . . . . . .
I have enclosed some photos of my original '34 phaeton side curtains. I have removed a couple curtain rods, so you can see their construction. They are flat where they slip into the pockets, but square where they fasten to the door sockets. These are all for the driver's side.
The long piece fastens to the top irons, themselves.
The smaller piece fastens to the W/S post.
Note that the original color, most noticeable on the long piece is an olive drab. Most restorers go with the more common tan top. It seems to fade to tan.
I hope that this helps you out !
MIKE :)

Something else to consider is going to someone who makes boat coverings - they have the nice clear plastic, can put in snaps or velcro (I don't know how original you want to be), even magnets sewn into the material.

The material they have is also fire retardent, which is a good idea, and cleans up better. You can also supply them w/material and they can make stuff to your spec.

The one fellow here in town by me is pretty good and with all the intricacies of top-end boats and their covers, they should easily be able to make up something to your spec.

Mike,
Thanks a bunch! Thats awesome! I gotta get to putting a top on it soon and doing the sides too. This helps heeps!

Oh Tom, thanks for the ideas. I'll talk to my upholstery guy and see what he says. He does do sailmaking so he'll have some good ideas too.

Shiny, PM your email and I will send you a couple of pics of my roadster rods loose and in the door to give you some ideas. I am not smart enough to figure out the pic posting on the website even though I have somehow done it in the past on the H.A.M.B. Dave

You are welcome. If you need any more information, just let me know. My car is right here and I can get you photos, very quickly, usually.
Those last pictures were taken at "twelve-oclock-high" and they had shadows. Maybe I can do better, next time.
