The 1941 Ford I got has a "G" series six cylinder engine. I wish it were
the V8, but this is what I ended up with. It starts instantly, has good
compression, is timed good, but it has no power on hills. It just lugs
down and I barely make it with out shifting to second where I am
turning high RPM to keep up speed without causing a trafic back up.
I am using an electric fuel pump which I mounted under the hood but
plan on moving it to near the gas tank. Do any one of you have an
idea of what I can do to get this engine to perform?
Thanks
