Shudder Sound on Deceleration

Hello Guys, I have a problem when I decelerate at about 65mph, I hear a shudder "sound" (no vibration) coming from my AOD transmission with a 351, 400HP engine. I have it in a 1935 Ford pickup. For starters, I have redone the rearend having the correct Back lash and preload with new bearings. Rearend and ****** are sitting at the correct angle.

NOTE: when I accelerate it goes away.

Is this just the nature of the beast for an AOD? Any help or ideas please.....

check your u joints, drive line will wobble on deceleration and run good when accelerating, if they are bad

Yes ford1, gets my vote. u joint going bad or is bad .Also is the read-end pulling back and the drive shaft walking OUT ?...OLD....BILL

U joints are new, this is a new project with 250 miles. I guess anything is possible. Thanks for the feedback.
