Short video as promised

Thanks, Terry...Since my vehicle is a blindback with out any of the roof metal I do not know what to do. You can't find the metal for around the rear window and on rails. I think I am screwed at this point. I'll see what a restoration shop would charge to fab one but I'm sure the price would be more than I paid for the car.

I have NO familiarity with blind backs. Go to your local scrapyard and get a piece of scrap 18 Ga for a minimum cost. Probably under $10 and see just what it takes to make one. Get photos of other blind backs. Check with local restoration shops and model A clubs which are usually willing to help. That thing can't be that difficult! I saw a fender and buck made for a 1938 Horch last year at Hershey. Talk about complex! It took 10 (ten) pieces to make that form! We know it can be done, but how?

Yeah, Terry, just had a restoration shop owner move down the street. Waiting for things to settle down and introduce myself and project.

I'm glad everything turned out OK, but need to add that driving any type of chassis without a firmly mounted seat that includes the seat back is dangerous. It doesn't take much for the chassis to lurch forward and essentially have the steering wheel yanked from your hands and your body falling backwards.
