short pitman arm-7 tooth

Any consensus on whether a shortened pitman rod benfits steering with 7 tooth steering?

I installed the short pitman arm on my 29 Roadster which has the 7 tooth steering; It made quite a noticable difference in ease of steering. If you make the change be sure to recheck the toe-in on the front end. I obtained the new short pitman arm from Snyder's.

I noticed no difference. However, I never try to turn the wheel without first moving.

I've got a shortened pitman arm on my sept. 29 with seven tooth steering. It will make any model a steer easier when moving. you probable won't notice any difference while sitting still.

Thanks, seems to be that it is benefical.........I don't have much problem steering as it is, but have read considerable praise related to shortened arm providing less steering effort, power steering almost:
