Remember me fussing last year about all them womens riding in my peeekup and causein all kinda trouble. Well, thanks to Bill Wzorek, my ride problems are on the way to be cured. Soon I will be able to load 'em up and not wander all over the road
. with Bill's encouragement not to use a BFH and not ruining any parts I got my old shocks loose from their links. Turns out some previous owner had put non-seaze on the link shafts. Thus with a wedge and not much pressure the studs came loose. Bill councils not to lube this links, but to install them clean and dry. I'll do that Bill. My shock report is:
left front ok.
right front zero resistance to moving the arm
Left rear Ok but link is wrong length
right rear solid with wrong link
So I will find links of the right length and replace the 2 bad shocks. The peeekup kinda wallers around turns and bumps, but with the shocks fixed, the womens side should be as smooth as my side is.
