Shocks for a Wagon

I have a 59 Wagon that I need to put front and rear shocks on. I hope to pull a Scotty camper with it eventually. Can anyone recommend a set of modern shocks that I can go down to the parts place and order? Part numbers would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I would go with KYB Gas-A-Just shocks all the way around. Made my '55 Ranch ride really good and took the "sway" out of it.
I don't know if your '59 would take the same number as mine tho.

The rear shocks for the Wagons, Rancheros and Retractables are different then the standard passenger car. They have a two bolt flange at the top and the stud on the bottom. Sorry don't have a number as mine for the wagon came off ebay with no original box.

you should be able to get them by year make and model at your auto parts store i was able to get monroes for my 55 merc wagon they are still listed in the catalog p.s. i no longer have that car

Since you have a load you may want to go this route: http://gabriel.com/our-products/car-light-truck-van/pv-detailed-specs/?partnum=49105 This part number is still available through Autozone @ about $70 or Monroe has the Sensa-Trac coil overs part # 58539 try Pep Boys. + Check your old shocks they should have a straight stud mounting top and bottom if so these will work, some of the online catalog sources conflict so look before you lay down the cash.
