Don't want to get a quote from shippers because they will not quit , just want an idea open trailer from Oregon to sc, 36 pickup ?

Figure approximately $2,000 give or take unless you find a hobbyist who is coming back from the coast with an empty trailer.
 
Tim is spot on. Ill say right at 2200.


I used to ship cars from Cali to NJ for 1000. ish. those days are long gone.
Closed trailer about 40% more.
 
I purchased my 50 three years ago from private party in Denver and wanted enclosed shipping right away to Chicago. I got vague dates and high prices from several name brand shippers. I believe they sub these jobs out. Booked with "Bring a trailer" and got my car in three days, tracking was provided. $2200. A Russian guy with a pickup and 2 car enclosed hauler. That's all he does, said Boris.

Like Joe B said, be careful going the way of "bidding" this out. I've seen and been told of some crazy stories about the driver who shows up. Some were great, some prayers were needed as the car pulled away in hopes it would make it safely.
