Shims/Spacers?

Are the (approx 1/8”) Shims/Spacers required when mounting ‘35, 16” wheels on stock A drums?

That's a great question!

I don't have any spacers on the drums on my car...

but maybe I should...

Not necessary when mounting 28-35 wheels on drums of the same era. The spacers are definitely needed when mounting 28-35 wheels on later drums.

ursus is correct. My '31 came with '35 wires on it many years ago. No problems at all, direct fit.
