Shift Forks

I believe its called the real deal oil seal. I installed on in my car without removing the ******. Use a super short ratchet with some grease in the socket so you do not lose the nuts and lock washers during the installation. It really does stop the ****** oil from going into the bell housing. Good Luck!

Here is another fix, sold by Mikes Afordable only, for $4.95 each. Just remove your Shift Tower from the top of the Transmission and install 2 of them.

go down to your local hardware store and buy two caps for 1/2 inch copper pipe, probably around $0.59 ea. Shorten them some and remove your shift tower and drive them into the holes in the bell housing. Install the shift tower check for any interference and you should be done.

We sell a cover for that made by Mitchell (the overdrive people). It is possible, but difficult, to install without removing the transmission. Here is a link to it,

I opened you link and found this.
"Front transmission Shaft Oil Seal Kit- the front two shift shafts on the model A transmission leak oil. This seal kit, installs indie the bellhousing to keep these to shafts from leaking. CAN be installed on assembled car."

Did you really mean to use the word "indie"? Or did you mean "in the"? :D

Make sure the vent hole in the tower is clean and open....what lub are you using in the trans? if it is wore that bad I would be looking for another one. Just my 2 cents...good luck

I use those from Mike's in my 30 Coupe. No leaks from the shift forks into the bell housing. Inexpensive fix.
