Bought an emblem for a 1930 radiator shell from Bert's
The tapered fitting on the back of the emblem is supposed to be a press fit into the hole in the shell, However the tapered fitting is too small or the hole is too big. The hole is about 1/8 inch larger than the fitting. What is the deal.
Was there more than one size hole in the 1930 radiator shells as they were manufactured? Or is the emblem made incorrectly? I know there is a reproduction emblem with a clip on the back but that is not the kind I bought.
I guess I could JB weld the piece in place.
Does anyone have a suggestion.
