Now as soon as they start casting flathead blocks we will have something to put them on. Marv

As far as i know "Specialized Ford" in Rosemead ,Ca. had some original Sharp intakes, dont know if he still has some??? ken ct.

This is the perfect time to adjust the head patterns to correct the "backwards" combustion chamber and move the sparkplug slightly away from the exhaust valve.

JWL has it right, now that your doing the job you might as well do it right. A nice 8 degree transfer area, with a 45 deg exit and a sprakplug in the middle.

Block letter of script Bob ?
Exactly, Block letters in caps. Everybody who see's them, and know's anything about flatheads, comments that they have never seen them before. Just got lucky that the guy my dad bought the car from in '57 chose them.

Love your car Bob , I have a few sets of block letter (will have to count how many) but there are differences in each set. Old "Sharp" aluminum seems to polish easier than other old heads & intakes.
Cheers

Same goes for their manifolds... I just had a 3x2 done last week and my polisher says it was a dream to work with.

Thanks Tony, I've tried to keep it totally '50's era except for the disc brakes on the front.
