Just curious while contemplating installing an oxygen sensor bung for possible future use. Do any of you guys have an air/fuel gauge installed and if so did you find it useful? I know I'd need an accessory 12 volt battery to run the Innovate LM-1 and five wire wideband I have kicking around.

I'm into Megasquirt fuel injection on my Flathead V8 and rather appreciate having air/fuel ratio monitoring, but if it would be totally useless on the Model A I won't bother.

Thanks,

Ray

If you are using the original Zenith or rep carb with a mixture screw it would be helpful, I have run my car on the emission dyne and used that to know about where my mixture is for given settings --I can get mine quite lean, the setting changes, the faster I go the more open the GAV, 1/2 turn is about 1-2% co at 50, 3/4 turn for 60.
I was looking at building an indicator with a row of leds, ---I wouldn't be surprised if a solenoid could be installed in the gav and put the car into closed loop
I could pass the same tailpipe/dyne test that a 1995 car had to.

Now that is something I would like to see. Interesting to say the least.
