Seeking the whereabouts of........

Dave, Am I mixing up two cars? Did you have another 32 roadster painted Winterleaf brown at Hershey in 1969 with that same plate on it?

No, just the one painted Old Chester gray and Tunis gray. Proof positive that colors in photos can be misleading, especially in older pre-digital photos.

For those whom own the 1932 Ford Book, this photo appears in the first few pages of a very young David. I presume this is the same car. I really like the KR Wilson carburetor mounted fuel can in the photo. Looks like he is having a blast!

Michael,

Good spotting of the KRW fuel tank. Same car; couldn't wait to put the seat in before taking a spin around the block. That photo was taken in 1966, as I recall.

No help, I'll get over it. I'll just paint all my 32s Black. Again I hope you locate that roadster. It was a show stopper!!!

Tom,

That it was; I've have yet to see its equal in all respects. Funny you should mention black as the standard roadster restoration that I am finishing up is that.

My STD roadster, "optional" leather upholstery anything but a std roof

Your Roadster from Hershey 1968
