I am in the process of rebuilding my 30 pickup two tooth steering gear box. Thanks to everyone that replied about reinstalling the worm gear I got the new one installed. I noticed the new thrust washer for the sector shaft has a raised center on one side and I am not sure what way that washer needs to face? The old thrust washer was pretty worn out and it was had to tell if it also had a raised center at one time.
