We have a 1929 Model A fordor Briggs leather back. I am recovering the seats and can’t see how to remove the back of the front seat and the side wings on it. Anyone have any suggestions or diagrams?
I'm tall, so when I had my seat out I moved it back a couple inches. It did require fabricating new brackets for the seat back to door post.I have a leatherback briggs. There is a metal bracket holding the seat back to the door pillar, about at upper arm height when sitting in the seat. The bottom seat frame is screwed to the floor. Take the side brackets off, remove the base screws, and the whole seat frame will come out.
