seat belts

Kenjt: I think getting under the car will be easier than being doubled over trying to work in the rumble area. But, suit yourself. Maybe a steel piece horizontally across the foot area of the rumble would give better resistance than just the sheet metal.

Thanks, I'll certainly take your suggestion and try getting underneath. I haven't really checked if there's anything under the seat to drill through for the bolts. I planned to put The brackets I got on the rumble seat side. Hopefully they'll provide enough resistance if I install that way.

Wow! I just pulled off the seat and found a heavy metal bar that already had some holes in perfect locations to mount the seat belts. It'll make the installation easy. I also found what looks like an original Model A jack.
