Sears heater manifold

I have a guy here locally that has a t heater manifold...has anyone seen ,own,know anything about what it should look like.i want to have all the imfo I can before I approach him concerning price?the threads are rough and there is no sheetmetal so I have some work to do if I get it.i just want no excuses not to drive my car once it is done haja

Anybody got an iidea what one without the sheetmetal and poor threads for nut is worth? I need it but dont know what to offer...dont want to innsult the guy...
