Screws and my vocabulary.......

Remove the resonator from the RB 250 and Put a diaper between the head and cross bar ,kinda muffles the sound ,allows you to play hard with out all bothering the neighbors or family. My Kids still talk bout running'em crazy while I was learning how to play in the 60"s.Between the 5 string and the Model A I have hardly time to eat. Don't give up on either ,I'm goin on 75 now and still knocking out a few tunes ,not as fast as used to do tho. Keep on pickin and twisting wrenches. Hobbies keep you young, but those broken off Bolts and screws are trouble.Like stated by Tom Wisenberg above ,Left handed Bits are a big help .

What works for me is...heat the screw to red hot, then spray it with a spray bottle of water. Do this 3 or 4 times and it will screw right out. I've been doing it for a long time, and the first time I did it...I was amazed. (Expansion and contraction.) Good luck..let me know if it works for you.

Today I tried this with the screws I had. Used the propane torch, adjusted the tip to as small as I could, took a spray bottle with plain water set to a steady stream. I was able to easily get out the screws that were causing me trouble.

Yes surprising how easy it was.

An without a single four letter word. I'm keeping my new years resolution :)
