There was a thread on the H.A.M.B. about a guy who filled his block (valley, pistons down in the bores) with charcoal and lit it up and covered it with a piece of sheet metal. He said it freed it up. Don't forget the wienies and marshmallows.

That sounds a little extreme. Even for me! I hope to get the oil drain plug in place and fill it up with as much old hydraulic oil as it will hold and let is soak. That oil was destined for the re-cycler eventually so might as well get some use out of it.
