Rumble Seat Rain Gutter Question

Hey All,

The more I take apart in a desperate attempt to clean up the rear end of my '30 Sport Coupe, the more fun things I discover...

The Left and Right side Quarter Panels have their Rain Gutters Mounted in different ways. I assume this is not correct, But I want to be sure. See the two images below, which is correct for a 1930 Sport Coupe?

on the 30-31 the rain gutter is mounted on underside of the 1/4 panel. 28-29 mounts on the outside of the panel under the T strip

I guess it takes a while for Ford to develop a better idea.

Thanks all, I guess the previous owners 'repaired' the left side like it was a 28-29.
