Rumble seat lid stops

I picked these rumble seat lid stops some time back at a swap meet. I think they are originals Ford parts, which I like to use if possible. They are pretty rust pitted, however I have restored worse items. I looked through the judging guidelines and could not find what model A's these are used on. I am hoping they are used on a 28/29 roadster/coupe, but I really don't know. If someone recognizes them, would you please let me know what years they are use for. I believe there is rubber block of some type that is attached with two machine screws to the top of each bracket. If they are not for a 28/29, does anyone know what the correct stops look like? Thanks for any help.

They are 28-29 coupe roadster and all cabriolet. They are the short type. See the link to find the difference between the stops.

The rubber was held on with tubular rivet, but the kits come with machine screws. The repro 28-29 brackets are steel and may be less work then the ones you have. I found the angle at the base was not stamped in properly. Nothing a large vice and a hammer could not quickly and easily fix.

The 30-31 tall repro brackets are made of aluminum. I bought a set for my cabriolet and found they do not work so well, another less learned.

Do not forget the rumble seat pan needs to have the reinforcements welded down good. There is a lot of stress on these parts so be sure you get them well mounted. They were mounted with round head screws and square nuts- if I remember correctly. Nut goes on bottom.

Thanks for the link, Kevin. Your are a big help as usual. I think I have seen these pictures before, but forgot where they were. I will need to bookmark the link on my computer so I will have it next time I need it.
Thanks again for the info.
