I am looking for a supplier for a carpet for the rumble seat floor of my 1934 five window coupe. I checked with LeBaron Bonney and they don't offer rumble seat carpets.----Anyone know where I can find one?---Thanks.
My '34 cabriolet has a rubber floor mat in the rumble seat area which matches the mat in the front. I suspect it is original or a copy of the original.
If you can't find anyone that makes a ready-made carpet, I would suggest purchasing bulk carpet from a restoration supplier like Bill Hirsch, cutting it to the pattern of your current floor mat and having a local carpet store or upholsterer bind the edges.
Contact a local car upolsterer and have them make you a custom fit carpet. They will fit it and bind the edges so it looks good. Use snaps or velcro for easy removal. If you have carpet that you can fit yourself check your local yellow pages for carper binders. They will take your carpet and finish (bind) the cut edges.
