rumble lock.............

update- the seat was too difficult to remove- broke off the lock and installed a keyless one I found in my garage. all good........

A replacement scroll rumble handle will be made of pot metal and chrome plated. An original locking scroll handle will be made of stainless steel and are next to impossible to find and very pricey. Removing the seat is a lot of work but makes for easy access. A fellow 68B owner

funny, the doors had the scroll handles and the rumble had the later angled handle........


well I had the angled handle in the barn, without a key slot- so what I installed. A scroll would def look better. the handle on my car was pot metal- why the pipe wrench took it right out

Any real locksmith should be able to pick that lock in under a minute!!!

Yes. Besides, does the thing really need to lock? I guess I do not recall ever seeing one with a lock.

I agree- have never seen a lock on one either........but the gold..........!
