Rumble Lid - 30 Coupe

I am needing a good rumble lid to convert during my restoration. I have a very good trunk lid that I would trade if desired.
 
I am not doing it myself, and the guy that is doing my metal/body work has not done one before. Question: Are there fit up problems(when fitting to the car afterwards) if you change the inner out to convert to rumble?
 
all you need to do is change the hinges and relocate the handle to the bottom, which means welding up the hole and drilling a new hole for the handle. otherwise the lids are the same
 
Well "all you need to do" is a bit more. You need reinforcements behind the hinges with d-nuts. Then be sure you place the latch correctly. Fill up the lower hole and remove trunk parts. All that said it is easier than finding a good 3031 original rumble.IMHO
