RPMs measurement

Hi

I have a digital Tachometer. I would like to measure the RPMs of my 1929 Tudor. Can you please tell me where I have to place the reflective tape.

There is a smart phone App called "Acoustical Tachometer" some say works well. I have it as its a free app but can't seem to get it to work....

I am sure you posted that in another thread a week ago. Also another member posted the equipment I got from Amazon. I can't find that thread now to look how to use it I can't remember the title.

Nevertheless I got some suggestions from experts on this thread that I will try and report back. I will also look for the app.... it's free, nothing to lose :-)

I have one and put the tape on the crank pulley. Works great and it doesn't care what engine or spinning item you use it on, but as Jack said, Watch out for them moving parts... Chap
