Roaester hood saddle

Hi all ,What year did the Roadster hood rest iron first come through the seat back, Thanks Ted

I believe 1923 is when the Top iron saddle post came through the body. L-shaped brackets were used previously. Some of use on the wrong side of the planet may have been confused by the word "Hood" as we tend to call it a Top.

Note I refer to American production, Canadian is different.
Very early calendar year 1921 for the change to top saddle post coming thru the body panel. This change along with oval gas tank predated the 1923 changes to 1 man top and slant windshield.
