Roadster wiper advice needed

Going to try for Pa street rod plates and have to have a w/s wiper. bought a bracket and hand operated set-up from speedway and bracket won't fit my frame and even if it did the way the hand lever is bent it wouldn't work anyway. (my w/s frame is a round one) It looks like if I would drill the frame and just use the hand wiper it would be fine,but afraid ---don't know how far up in the frame the glass goes. What are U roadster guys using? I thought after all the BS pics & inspection I would just stow it in the trunk,but am at a stand still as to what to do. Any suggestions?

I think I am running stock on my '31 RDPU. Note that the round part of the wiper points up on the RDPU and down on the roadsters and phaetons. The frame is not drilled for the wiper attachment.

28 Roadsters and Phaetons came equipted with a hand wiper; as I recall the glass channel is about 1/4" to 5/16" deep. Drill hole above the glass the same diameter as the shaft size of your hand wiper.

I didn't want to install a electric wiper on my February 29 Roadster ( a Driver). I drilled the original round frame and installed a hand wiper.
