roadster subrails and doors

Hi I am working on a basket case 1929 model a roadster and i replaced the subrails with some from howells and now I have a problem that my door does not fit it is 22 and a quarter but the opening is larger can anyone tell me if I have a 1929 door,does anyone know what the dimensions for the subrails or what the door size difference is for 29 vs 30-31 Thanks Tim
 
I don't know how you installed the subrails, but they need to be done with a fair amount of accuracy. I'm piecing together a set from three original Roadster bodies. I set up a table with MDF and laid out all the pieces starting with the cowl and moved to the back, marking and cuting the pieces to fit. The 4x8 sheet gives me a far better surface to work on than a chassis.
