Roadster side curtains

Well I'm not exactly making them for me. Some of the passengers don't apreciate the weather as much as me.(wife)

Keep your speed up and you won't need side curtains
That's laugh. I was in a hail/thunder storm & going way faster than I should have trying to out run it but to no avail. The hail was bouncing all around of the dash & windshield + the wife & I got soaked. There as packed across the top of the inside header. Sometime you just have to suck it up & do the best you can. Pulling off & out of the storms was not an option as there was no place to hide on the wide open road. I finally made some side windows out of plexi-glass & attached them with bolts to the top frame & carry them in a bag behind the seat to use as needed.

Slight error as C R S set in . It was LEXAN not plexi glass that was the first pair & they didn't hold up all that well. They got scratches & cracks so went with the lexan.

I've done several sets of side curtains for 32 roadsters and I make a frame out of 1/4 inch cold roll and cover it with top material and have plastic windows. Keeps the curtains from flopping so much and I've gotten them to seal up fairly well, anyway good enough so the heater takes the chill off and keeps the passenger happy?

I've been kinda building them in my head for a little wile. Perhaps a build up thread is the works
