roadster rear spring

Is a 7 leaf roadster rear spring the same as an 8 leaf coupe spring with one less leaf?

almost but not quite... see jpg attached. apologies for the poor detail. You actually need a 10 leaf to do it, as the top of an 8 leaf is thicker than a 7 leaf. thanks goes to Marco for the chart.
