Road walk

26 Touring car road walks, I think some call it wander. What ever it is call in simple words it is hard to keep it between the ditches. I checked toe in and it was 1/2" toe out. I have set it to 1/4" toe in and thet helped a little but still not right. I checked camber and it is about 5/8" in at bottom. I don't have a good level place to try to check caster but by eye balling it looks to lean back at top a little. All steering king pins and tie rod and drag link is tight but not binding. Car does not shimmy (death wobble) any time. Any Ideas what I might do to make me have control instead of it having a mind of its own?

Wishbone socket on pan may be loose and also check the nuts on the axel. Spindle nuts might need tightening or wheel bearings might be worn, but his usually causes shimmy which you do not have. Are the tires new? I had a cheap new set that wandered all over the place right after I installed them. Returned them, and replaced them with better quality tires, the problem disappeared. Don't know if it was the tread pattern or the soft rubber that caused it. Good luck.

checked tire pressure, it is 37 and 40LB. Tires are 21's on wire spoke wheels. Wheel bearings OK. Tires are old good tread but some cracking in sidewalls, not bad, but some folks say any is bad. I just got the car so I don't know how long the problem is there. I haven't but will check wishbone socket.
