Road trip to retrieve a '29 Roadster

A page just for fun of things done on a road trip to retrieve a black on black Model A Ford roadster. Other than a steam locomotive, this car has to be the best b&w subject matter on earth!

My other hobby is very large antique cameras. The photographs were made with a Kodak 8X10 camera and lenses much older than the Ford.

Me, I'm new here, but have been infected with the Model A virus for 54 years.

Hey nicely done Jim.
Most of us would give our left *** to find a car that well preserved. :D

WOW !!! Wrap it up I,ll take it !!! How about an exchange for the hand of a comely daughter ,can cook, choice of two, both low mileage ???

John in sunny morning rain on the way (again) DRAT !!! England.

The black and white photos are so refreshing! Certainly, the car is a treasure but Glen is just as fortunate to have a friend that can take such great pictures. Gar Williams

Thanks for all the nice replies. Certainly the photography is a passion of mine that equals the Fords, although the cars have been around much longer. I only took up photography a decade and a half ago.

The '40 is also a survivor. I see a pattern. It has like 83,000 miles and is a strong runner. Never overheats. Light years more comfortable and sophisticated than a Model A. It isn't for sale, in fact I teased Glen that he needs a black on black '55 Bird to complete MY collection of favorite Fords ever.
