Are you kidding? Any supplier making parts for an outfit like Ford, which had very high dimensional and metallurgical standards, would have found himself in the welfare line immediately. Everything was traceable, and new cars howling off the assembly line would have led to an immediate and savage witch-hunt. Do some reading on Ford testing and fitting procedures and on their standards...
