Rimac tool

Guys, I ran across this tool that I acquired a few years ago. I forgot that I had it & can't seem to recall how, when, where I got it & what it is for. I had it in with my flathead valve stuff & I think that it might be something special associated with that. It is made by Rimac, but has no markings aside from pat aap on the top. It looks like you would hook it over the shank of a valve & flip the valve up into it. Then the knurled end twists around the valve & locks the tool around the valve, but that's just speculating at this point. Have any of you ever used or seen one of these? I will probably ask this on the HAMB also. Thanks. Bill

Gary, You are correct. It fits the guide bore like a glove. The little button on the knurled top is a stop so that it does not slip thru the guide bore. Thank you again. Bill
