Richard I don't think this is a Ausy body ??
Richard thanks for posting pictures. This is inspiring.
Actually, my son Dennis posted them - I am "photo posting disadvantaged" - and he also did much of the work to get the car on the road again, including "motivating" me... and designed and made the brackets to mount the new jet seats. They are mounted to original holes in the floor, so nothing was modified. Years ago, I did the work on HIS 32 PU (he was 2 or 3 at the time...) so you might say that he "owed me" ??? He also built a T roadster for himself,
although alot of the parts he used look very familiar to me...![]()
Same thing happened to me. Danny said I am going to build me a truck and all of a sudden I had less parts laying around, these kids sure know how to work their dads. Bruce
No problem... I would do the same for you...
The 34 in your photos is an Aussie body? The doors are short at the bottom; it had a tin spacer between the bottom and the board? Also has wood sills... There was also one of these in the same building, also RHD and an original 4cyl car. I think it was the only other "non-hot-rod" besides mine. The guy who bought it yanked the banger out and had it for sale in the back of his pickup at the next Pomona Swap. I bought it and cleaned it up and stuck it in my son's 32 PU while another motor was being built. It ran really good. Later took it out and it has been sitting in my shop for over 25 years, waiting for another spot in something...
Do you want to sell the banger and have it return to Australia?![]()
