RHD Drag link

Likely a silly question, but thought I better ask since I don't know for a definate. Are the RHD drag links shorter or did Ford use basicly the same link and just reverse the ball on the tie rod? This question is bacause of a possibly early drag link I have out at the farm. I am thinking it was cut down and rethreaded for a different use. Also what sort of value do the early link ends have without the cap or the link itself? Thanks Rod

Here are some pic's of the early ends I have, that have been used as capps later on. Rod

The tie rods in your pics all look like mid to late std. 20's rods. The one on the wire wheel is for the Improved Car, those are a tad shorter in length that prior, only the very early (10's) rods are different with a fine thread adjustment and no oliers on the end bushings.

There are several in the pics that have those accessory tie rod caps that are spring loaded, those are the ones with the long cyl housings, the use of those style caps helps prevent wobbly front end to some extent, were popular in the day and are still made new for use today.

Thanks, I was wondering abit about the cotter key holes, but that pretty well explains the, Still there is a 1914 style draglink. Guesse I ahold be happy with that. Rod
