Glad to be back after a few years absence due to illness and moving. First step was to go back to page one on the forum and work my way to current postings, looking for answers to questions on upgrading my 51 4-door. Lots of interesting ideas and suggestions for what I was looking for, and some new sources. I am a 25 year active member of the Early Ford V8 Club, so have lots of info on stock, original Ford flatheads, but I want to make some changes for safety and comfort, as well as over come the normal over heating and hard starting problems that seem to happen during tours and trips. It's great to be back among you all.

Welcome back.
Be sure to join the 1952-59 Ford Social Group over on the HAMB for hotrodding your Ford.

Living in Arizona as we do heat is a big issue and 1949-56 Fords can use early 1965-68 Mustang radiators as a bolt-in when doing a swap, with the flathead being kept here is an option if you have converted to 12 volts:http://www.fordmuscleforums.com/cooling-articles/482048-junkyard-upgrade-dual-electric-fans.html
