Retro video

A couple of discussion topics from that video: In the video they refer to the car as a "Model T" but I believe the common term back then was just "Ford". No need to say "Model T" as it was the only Ford made until the "A". Aftermarket ads of the day offered accessories for your "Ford", not "Model T". Also used was "Tin Lizzie". My dad (born 1913) remembered the phrase "Henry made a lady out of Lizzie" when the A came out (or maybe it was a song).
Also, note the color of the restored T in the video: Maroon! So all T's were NOT black! Most, maybe, and all in some years, but definitely not every one.

Yes, Henry Made a Lady Out of Lizzie is a song. The car they're using in the video is a 1915 British or Canadian-made touring. The color may be legit. I know that in Australia a lot of Fords were sold in colors other than black, some with bodies made in Australia, and some Canadian. Beginning with 1914 models, all USA Fords were black. For the final two years, 1926-1927, other colors were available again.
