Restoring the Ford Radiator badge

I'm wondering if anyone has experience restoring the Ford radiator badge/emblem,mine is 1930

There is a fellow in MA - Chuck Conway that restores emblem for much less ($55, I believe) than Karla Maxwell's price. He does a good job. I have three emblems done by him and am quite pleased with them. One or two of them were fairly rough when he started on them. They might not be as perfect as Karla's, but they look very good to me at about 1/4 or 1/5 of Karla's price. If you are doing a fine points car, Karla is probably where you want to have your emblem restored, but if you car is a driver or even a very nice restoration (but not fine points) Chuck's restorations are quite good.
